HAMILTON, N.Y. - The La Salle University women's tennis team suffered a 7-0 setback at the hands of Colgate on Saturday afternoon in upstate New York.
The Red Raiders were able to limit the Explorers to just three games during doubles action to take an early 1-0 lead. In singles play, freshman
Ali Snyder fought Colgate senior Hannah Fleckenstein tooth and nail in the first set, forcing a tiebreak. But Snyder eventually fell, 7-6, 6-2.
La Salle dropped all six of the singles matches and fell to 1-4 on the year.
The Explorers return to action on Friday, Mar. 17 against Big 5 rival Temple. The match will be held at the University of Pennsylvania, beginning at 5:00 p.m.
