Scouting the Explorers
-La Salle is coming off a hard-fought 2-1 loss at Penn on Thursday after the Quakers scored the winning run in the bottom of the 7
th.

Mackenzie Obert and
Kristin Martin all had multi-hit days for the Explorers on Thursday, inlcuding Martin's first career triple in the 7
th inning after entering the game as a pinch-hitter in the 5
th.
-Obert leads the team in hitting with a .333 average (15-for-45),
Michelle Hagarty leads the team in runs scored (13) and
Suzanne Swanicke has driven in a team-best 13 runs.

Marlo Roadcap made the start against Penn, limiting the Quakers to just one run through four innings. Roadcap leads the staff with a 3.24 ERA in 49.2 innings pitched.
Scouting the Patriots
-GMU went 1-3 last weekend in the Jacksonville Invitational, losing two out of three to Columbia and suffering an 8-1 loss to Jacksonville to wrap up the weekend.
-George Mason has struggled at the plate this season, hitting a league-low .215 at the plate and scoring just 58 runs through 22 games.
-The Patriots pitching staff has posted a solid 3.74 team ERA this season. Sophomore Marina Vitalich leads the way with a 2.20 ERA in 63.2 innings pitched and has collected 59 strikeouts compared to just 11 walks.
