PHILADELPHIA - Senior
Brian Balico picked up a three-set win at No. 2 singles for the La Salle men's tennis team on Wednesday, as the Explorers dropped an 8-1 decision to Chestnut Hill in a road non-conference match.
Balico earned a relatively easy 6-2, first-set win before dropping the second by a 6-3 margin. The third and deciding set tipped in the Paramus, N.J. native's favor as he earned a point for the Explorers.
The Griffins swept all three doubles and won five of the six singles matches en route to their fifth victory of the year.
La Salle returns to Atlantic 10 play on Saturday, April 1 against George Mason. The match will be played at the Upper Dublin Racquet Club beginning at 1:00 p.m.
