PHILADELPHIA - Four different La Salle University women's tennis players earned singles victories and two doubles pairings were also victorious as the Explorers downed Chestnut Hill, 6-3, on Wednesday afternoon.
Junior
Jade Smith did not allow her opponent to pick up a game on her over a 6-0, 6-0, straight-set win at No. 5 singles. Freshman
Maansi Malhotra was nearly as impressive, as her opponent at No. 6 singles, Laura Lupin, won just one game as Malhotra won, 6-0, 6-1.

Jayla Smith, defeated Nicole Yang at No. 4 singles, 6-0, 6-3, while freshman
Ali Snyder was the fourth Explorer to earn a point during the single competition with a 6-4, 6-2 triumph at the No. 2 position.
The two Smith sisters, along with Malhotra and junior
Ally Santerelli, combined to win the No. 2 and No. 3 doubles matches as La Salle picked up its second team win of the year.
The Explorers return to action on Saturday, April 1 with an Atlantic 10 match against George Mason at the Upper Dublin Racquet Club. Â
