PHILADELPHIA - The La Salle University men's tennis team completed the regular season on Tuesday afternoon against Big 5 and Atlantic 10 rival Saint Joseph's.
Senior
Brian Balico and freshman
Patrick Pascual combined to earn a victory at No. 2 doubles, defeating Scott Battaglia and Beekman Schaeffer, 6-3, but St. Joe's earned the doubles point with wins at No. 1 and No. 3.
Junior
Tomas Christian was the top individual player for La Salle, as he took eight games from Schaeffer at No. 3 singles.
The Hawks were able to sweep the Explorers in all six singles matches to take a 7-0 decision.
The Explorers will take nearly two weeks off before traveling to Orlando, Fla., for the 2017 Atlantic 10 Championships.
