Scouting the Explorers
-The La Salle softball team had a stellar offensive day en route to a doubleheader sweep of the Drexel Dragons on Wednesday afternoon. La Salle held on for a 10-8 win in the opener before run-ruling the Dragons 14-3 in game two.

Suzanne Swanicke finished the day 6-for-6 with five RBI's while
Christina Bascara,
Mackenzie Obert and
Emma Schweigert had three hits apiece. Schweigert also plated five runs.

Taylor Rohrbaugh hit her first career grand slam in the 1
st inning of game two, and is now second on the team with four homers.
Mackenzie Obert, who drove in what turned out to be the winning run with a two-run homer in game one, leads the team with five round-trippers.

McKenzie Peace pitched in relief in both games Wednesday, earning a save for recording the final three outs in game one and pitching 2.2 scoreless innings to earn the win in game two.
Scouting the Billikens
-SLU is coming off a 7-3 loss to SIUE on Tuesday after taking two of three at George Washington over the weekend.
-Junior Allie Macfarlane is third in the A-10 in RBI's with 36 so far this season. The infielder leads the team with a .348 average
-Maddie Baalman is eighth in the A-10 with a 2.67 ERA, and has a compiled a 9-9 record with 86 strikeouts in 125.2 innings.
-The Billikens are the top fielding team in the A-10 this season, compiling a .967 fielding percentage through 37 games.
