BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The La Salle University women's tennis team rounded out its regular season on Saturday afternoon with a road non-conference match against Lehigh.
The Mountain Hawks picked up the doubles point and won all six singles matches to improve to 9-8 on the year.
In doubles action, juniors
Ally Santerelli and
Jade Smith paired to push Grace Lin and Leigh Friedman to the limit at No. 2 doubles, before falling in a tiebreaker.
Smith also had the strongest performance by a La Salle singles player, winning six games in her loss to Cassidy Cruz at the No. 4 spot.
La Salle concludes its season at the Atlantic 10 Championships, which are scheduled to be held in Orlando, Fla. beginning on Wednesday, April 26.
