ORLANDO, Fla. - The La Salle University women's tennis team had its season come to a close on Wednesday afternoon with a 4-0 loss to Fordham in the opening round of the 2017 Atlantic 10 Championships.

The Rams earned the doubles point by virtue of a pair of wins at No. 2 and No. 3. The first match, featuring Brittany Poje and Ali Snyder, stood at 5-2 in favor of Fordham before the point was called.

In singles action, Poje took three games in the opening set from Fordham's Carina Ma at the No. 1 position while Snyder, junior Ally Santerelli and freshman Maansi Malhotra each won three games in their matches.
