Colin Lucius picked up the first dual singles victory of his collegiate career for the La Salle men's tennis team, who fell to local opponent Drexel, 6-1, on Thursday.
Lucius picked up an 8-3 win at the No. 6 single position, defeating Vuk Subotic. In other singles action, junior
Francesco Mowrey won the first set of his match against Balaji Lakshmanan, but ultimately lost a tough three-set match.
The Dragons earned four straight-set wins in singles and swept all three doubles matches to improve to 4-3 on the year.
La Salle continues the year on Saturday, Feb. 17 against Lafayette.
