Box Score BUIES CREEK, N.C. – The La Salle softball team (0-3) led Georgia Tech (5-6) 2-1 through six innings before the Yellow Jackets hit back-to-back homers in the 7
th to steal a 3-2 win. The Explorers then fell to Campbell 10-2 to conclude the action for the Camel Stampede.
Game 1
Georgia Tech 3, La Salle 2
With La Salle up a run entering the 7th inning, Georgia Tech's Cameron Stanford and Draven Sonnon hit back-to-back homers to lift the Yellow Jackets to a win in dramatic fashion.
Valerie Pineiro had belted a two-run homer with one out in the 5
th to give La Salle a 2-1 lead after
Taylor Rohrbaugh led off the inning with a walk.
Marlo Roadcap (L, 0-2) was excellent through six innings, limiting the Yellow Jackets to one run on one hit and a walk before back-to-back homers to start the 7th. The lefty fanned five on the afternoon.
Emily Anderson (W, 3-3) held the Explorers scoreless until Pineiro's homer in the 5
th, and allowed just two hits and a walk in the complete-game effort.
The Explorers play Campbell tonight at 5:30 p.m. to wrap up the Camel Stampede.

Campbell 10, La Salle 2
Freshman
Morgan Orlowski (L, 0-1) allowed eight runs (six earned) over 3.1 innings in her first career start. Campbell scored three runs in the 2nd and then added seven more in the 4th.
The Explorers put two runs on the board in the 5th on an RBI double by
Emily Conaway before
Emma Schweigert scored on a wild pitch. Megan Richards (W, 4-3) went all five innings for the Camels, yielding just three hits and two walks.
