                     PHILADELPHIA - Despite a game effort at No. 2 doubles from sophomores 
Ali Snyder and 
Maansi Malhotra, the La Salle University women's tennis team fell to Colgate by a score of 4-0 on Sunday.
The two sophomores paired up and led by a 6-5 margin before their match was halted. Colgate secured the doubles point with a 6-1 win at the top position and a 7-5 victory at No. 3.
In singles, Colgate was victorious at No. 1, No. 3 and No. 4, all in straight sets to claim the team triumph. 
La Salle continues its season on Saturday, Feb. 17 against Lafayette.
