BALTIMORE – The La Salle softball team will play five games over three days this weekend in the Hampton Inn BWI UMBC Dawg Pound Invitational.

Scouting La Salle
-The Explorers beat Omaha 5-4 in the opening game of Hampton University's Blue-White Classic last weekend, but dropped their remaining four games. Two of the losses came by one run in extra innings.

Jackie Heim had a career day in the win over Omaha, belting two homers and driving in four runs to help lift the Explorers to the win. The homers were the first of the sophomore's career.

Emily Conaway was locked in last weekend, hitting .421 (8-for-19) with five doubles and two runs scored in five games. The sophomore also racked up a .684 slugging percentage and now leads La Salle with a .326 batting average and eight doubles.

Morgan Orlowski threw two scoreless innings against Omaha on Saturday, extending her streak without an earned run to nine innings. The freshman has a team-best 3.10 ERA through 20.1 innings this season.

Marlo Roadcap ranks 5
th in the Atlantic 10 with 35 strikeouts through 40.1 innings. The junior is also in a four-way tie for the most complete games in the A-10 this season with five.
