Box Score BALTIMORE, MD. - The La Salle softball team continued its impressive play on Sunday, defeating Saint Peter's 15-1. The win marked four in a row for the team, which wrapped up the UMBC Dawg Pound Invitational with four wins in five games.

The Explorers scored early and often, beginning with a Deanna Pineiro two-run double in the 2^nd inning. Taylor Rohrbaugh and Ashley Mendenhall drove in two more runs in the 3^rd with RBI groundouts.
 
Mendenhall drove in another run with an RBI double in the 5^th inning before a two-run double by Valerie Pineiro made it 7-0 Explorers. The Explorers added seven runs in the 7^th to put the game out of contention, highlighted by an Emma Schweigert three-run homer.
 
Reilly Gearhart (W, 3-4) pitched four scoreless innings to earn the win, allowing just one hit and a walk while striking out five. McKenzie Peace didn't allow an earned run in three frames in relief.
