PHILADELPHIA – The La Salle softball team will now play Tuesday's doubleheader with the Wildcats at the Villanova Softball Complex. The opening game is still slated for 3 p.m.
Scouting the Explorers (7-15)
-La Salle is looking to bounce back from three losses at UMass over the weekend in the opening series of the conference schedule.
-
Emily Conaway is leading the team in hitting with a .309 average (21-for-68). The sophomore went 1-for-2 with an RBI single in La Salle's lone game against Villanova last season.

Bridget Magee went 3-for-7 in three games at UMass over the weekend, including going 2-for-3 with a run scored in Saturday's second game.
Scouting the Wildcats (9-10)
-Villanova had their weekend series with Butler cancelled after last week's snow storm. The Wildcats also had a single game scheduled for Delaware State on Tuesday and a doubleheader at Rider on Thursday that were called off after the storm.
-Villanova went 3-1 in the Blue Hen Classic at Delaware on March 17-18. VU beat Cornell twice and split a pair of games with the Blue Hens.
-Senior Brittany Husk leads Nova with a .379 batting average while junior Lauren Hanna is hitting .373 with a team-high 11 RBI's.
-In the circle, freshman Anissa Amarillas is 6-4 with a team-best 2.94 ERA.
