FAIRFAX, Va. - Sophomore Ali Snyder earned a straight-set win over Brianna Gibbs at No. 2 singles for the La Salle women's tennis team, but the Explorers succumbed to the Patriots, 5-2, in an Atlantic 10 match on Friday.

Snyder earned a 6-4, 6-2 win over Gibbs and also teamed with junior Brittany Poje for a 6-4 victory at No. 1 doubles. GMU won the other two doubles matches to take the initial point, then won four of the five singles matches for the final margin of victory.

La Salle continues its season on Wednesday, April 4 at Villanova.
