PHILADELPHIA - The La Salle University women's tennis team put together an impressive showing against Monmouth, winning the doubles point and taking all six singles matches in a 7-0 victory.
Sophomore
Tiffany Theophil earned a 6-2, 6-2 win at the top singles position and teamed with classmate
Ali Snyder to pick up a 6-3 triumph at No. 1 doubles. Snyder bounced back from a first-set defeat in her singles match at No. 2, winning the second and third to take the point.
Seniors Jade and
Jayla Smith earned wins at No. 4 and No. 6 singles, respectively, while junior
Brittany Poje and freshman
Hana Granillo were the victors in their matches as well.Â
The Explorers will look to make it two straight on Sunday, April 15 when they take on Atlantic 10 foe Saint Joseph's.Â
