PHILADELPHIA – The La Salle softball team continues Atlantic 10 play this week with a doubleheader at Saint Joseph's on Thursday.
Scouting the Explorers
-La Salle was swept by George Mason over the weekend at West Campus Field.

Taylor Rohrbaugh is hitting a team-best .313 in Atlantic 10 play, and leads the team in walks (21) and on-base percentage (.415) on the season. The senior's 21 walks drawn are sixth in the conference.

Marissa Ewald launched a three-run homer against George Mason on Sunday, and now leads the team with 20 RBI's despite being eighth
on the team with just 72 at-bats. The freshman has a .542 slugging percentage on the season, which is second behind
Emma Schweigert (.583).
Scouting the Hawks
-Saint Joseph's is on a four-game winning streak after sweeping three games at Rhode Island over the weekend.
-Caela Abadie was named A-10 Co-Player of the Week on Monday after hitting .562 and driving in eight runs in four games last week. The sophomore now has a team-high 27 RBI's and seven home runs.
-Fellow sophomore Molly Kapala paces SJU with a .344 batting average, 44 hits, 24 runs scored and 11 doubles.
-Ashley Ventura picked up the win in all four games last week, and leads the staff with nine victories. The junior ranks among the top 10 in the league in strikeouts (91), innings pitched (144.1), and ERA (2.96).
