PHILADELPHIA – The La Salle softball team hosts Saint Louis for a three-game series at West Campus Field this weekend. A ceremony recognizing the 2018 seniors will take place at 11:40 a.m. before Saturday's doubleheader.
Scouting the Explorers
-La Salle dropped two games at Saint Joseph's on Thursday, losing a 9-8 heartbreaker in game one before taking a 6-0 loss in game two.

Emily Conaway doubled for the 13
th time this season on Wednesday, which tied Amanda Clark (2001) for most doubles in a season at La Salle.

Emma Schweigert leads the team with 33 runs scored this season, which is tied for sixth in the A-10. The junior leads La Salle with a .552 slugging percentage and nine home runs.

Taylor Rohrbaugh leads La Salle with a .416 on-base percentage, and her 22 walks are tied for sixth-most in a season at La Salle.
Scouting the Billikens
-Saint Louis is on a five-game losing streak after dropping a doubleheader to Southeast Missouri State on Wednesday. The Billikens were swept at home by Fordham over the weekend.
-SLU freshman Sadie Wise leads the A-10 with 15 home runs and ranks third with a .381 batting average. Wise is a top-25 candidate for the Schutt Sports/National Fastpitch Coaches Association Division I Freshman of the Year Award, which will be announced May 29.
-As a team, the Billikens rank third in the conference in hits (324), doubles (79), and home runs (35).
-Saint Louis starter Maddie Baalman is tied for second in the A-10 in wins (13) and complete games (11), and ranks fourth in strikeouts (106). The senior leads the conference with 144 innings pitched.
