PHILADELPHIA - Temple defeated La Salle in non-conference women's tennis action on Thursday afternoon, defeating the Explorers in the seven matches that were contested.

Playing shorthanded due to class conflicts, La Salle dropped the two doubles matches that were played. The Owls swept the five singles contests en route to their second straight victory.

The Explorers continue Atlantic 10 play on Friday, April 12 with a home match against George Mason.
