PHILADELPHIA - The La Salle women's tennis team suffered a 7-0 setback at the hands of Duquesne on Sunday. The match marked Senior Day for the Explorers, with La Salle honoring its lone senior,
Brittany Poje, prior to the match.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Dukes earned a pair of 6-1 wins in doubles action to open the scoring.
- All six singles matches were decided in two sets, with Duquesne coming out on top in all of them.
- The win extended Duquesne's winning streak to six matches and the team improved to 5-1 in A-10 play.
