PHILADELPHIA - Junior
Ali Snyder secured a win at No. 2 singles, but the La Salle women's tennis team suffered a 6-1 loss at Saint Joseph's on Tuesday.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The doubles point went down to the third and final match, as the two teams split the top two doubles matches.
- Senior Brittany Poje and sophomore Aleks Nikolic downed their opponents at No. 2, 6-4.
- All tied at 4-4, SJU took the final two games of the match at No. 1 and jumped out to a 1-0 lead.
- Singles action saw the Hawks win four of the six matches in straight sets.
- In addition to Snyder's easy 6-0, 6-1 win at No. 2, freshman Jazmin Walle won the first set of her match at No. 5.
- Alex Kramer won the second set for St. Joe's, 6-1, and took the third set supertiebreaker, 10-6.

- La Salle travels to Lafayette for the final regular-season match of the season on Wednesday, April 17.
