• Gillis edged out teammate Anthony Hawthorne for first in the 800 with a time of 1:49.97, while Hawthorne took the runner-up spot in 1:50.32. Gillis has now won both races he has competed in so far this season, both coming in the 800 meters.
• Redshirt sophomore Ryan James took fifth in the 5,000 meters among 14 finishers with a mark of 14:55.62.
• Junior Dennis Manyeah placed eighth out of 25 competitors in the high jump, putting up a leap of 2.06 meters.
• Senior Darian Alston also notched an eighth place finish, doing so in the triple jump with a mark of 14.55 meters.
• Freshman Dan Whaley was 12th among 24 runners in the 400-meter dash, crossing the line in 50.40 seconds. Sophomore Ibrahim Kedir ran the 3,000 meters in 8:28.45.
• Sophomore Chris Lewis finished 14th in the 200 meters in 21.95 and 28th in the 60-meter dash in 6.96 seconds. Senior Ache Hall was 19th among 28 in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.36 seconds.

• La Salle will compete at the Albany Winter Classic next Friday, Feb. 7.
