LEWISBURG, Pa. - The La Salle women's tennis team put up a fight against Bucknell on Friday, but ultimately dropped a 7-0 decision to the Bison. 

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Bison quickly took the doubles point by scores of 6-3 (No. 1) and 6-1 (No. 2), but saw the Explorers come back with a lot of fight in singles.
• Junior Aleks Nikolic took the second set of her match at No. 3, 6-2, to force a thrilling third set that totaled 24 points but utlimately went to Bucknell's Jill Auteri.
• Bucknell took straight-set finishes at No. 1, No. 2 and No. 4, and picked up default wins at No. 5 and No. 6.

• The La Salle women will take on Marist in a neutral-site match on Saturday, Feb. 22, beginning at 10:00 a.m.
