LEWISBURG, Pa. - The La Salle men's tennis team suffered a 4-0 setback to Bucknell on Friday. The match was the first of three in three days for the Explorers, who will face Marist in a neutral-site contest on Saturday.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- La Salle put together a strong effort in doubles action, with freshman Brandon Caban and junior Colin Lucius picking up a 7-5 win at No. 3.
- The Bison were able to win two close matches at No. 1 and No. 2 to take an early 1-0 lead.
- Singles action favored Bucknell, as the top three of the home team's lineup wound up winning in straight sets.
- By virtue of the three singles wins, the two teams did not contest the final three singles matches with the team win already decided.
