LITTLE SILVER, N.J. - The La Salle University women's tennis team fell to Monmouth on Sunday in a 5-2 decision. Senior Ali Snyder and junior Aleks Nikolic picked up singles wins for the Explorers. 

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The doubles point went to Monmouth as they won the top two matches and went uncontested in the third.
• In singles, Ali Snyder secured a victory in straight sets at No. 1.
• At No. 3, Aleks Nikolic picked up a victory in three sets. 
• Sophomore Jazmin Walle took the second set of her match at No. 2, 7-5, forcing a third but ultimately fell to Monmouth's Nicole Gasser. 
• Senior Maansi Malhotra also went three sets with her opponent at No. 4, but came up just short.
