PHILADELPHIA – The La Salle softball team (0-9, 0-4 A-10) will head to Fordham (16-3, 4-0 A-10) for four games this weekend. The Explorers and Rams will play on Friday at 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. and air nationally on ESPN+. Saturday's doubleheader will start at noon with game two starting around 2:30 p.m.
 
SCOUTING THE EXPLORERS:

• La Salle was in action last weekend with a pair of games at Drexel.
• Sophomores Maddy Little (.381) and Victoria Zatko (.316) are the top hitters for the Blue & Gold and only hitting above .300.
• Little leads the quad in hits, while Zatko paces the Explorers in extra base hits, total bases, and RBIs.
• Both junior Sarah Dowalo (0-5) and sophomore Regan Ware (0-4) have tossed 22 innings apiece for La Salle.
• Dowalo has a 11.14 ERA with 35 earned runs on 56 hits and 11 walks, while Ware holds a 14.94 ERA on 47 earned, 63 hits, and 14 free passes.

SCOUTING THE RAMS:

• Fordham is fresh off an extra inning walk-off win over Stony Brook this past Tuesday and is riding a 13-game win streak.
• The Rams boast a trio of hitters above .400 and seven at .300 or higher.
• Michaela Carter has started all 19 games and is leading Fordham in hitting at .412.
• Five different Rams have made an appearance in the circle this season, led by Madie Aughinbaugh (8-0) with nine starts. She leads the team with 51.1 inning of work, a 1.64 ERA, 49 strikeouts, and four complete games.
