PHILADELPHIA – The La Salle softball team (0-13) is ready for a doubleheader against the Penn Quakers (3-3) on Saturday after the weekend series against Rhode Island was postponed due to positive COVID-19 cases inside the Rams' program. First pitch Saturday is slated for 12:30 p.m. at West Campus Field.
 
SCOUTING THE EXPLORERS:

• Collectively, the team is hitting .230 on the season led by sophomore Maddy Little at .300.
• Sophomore Victoria Zatko is leading the Blue & Gold in RBIs, runs, extra base hits, and home runs.
• Junior Sarah Dowalo and sophomore Regan Ware make up a pitching staff with a 12.53 ERA and allows opponents to hit .452.

SCOUTING THE QUAKERS:

• Penn was at Villanova on Wednesday and split with the Wildcats to sit 3-3 on the year.
• The Quakers are hitting .266 as a unit through six games, led by Sammy Fenton at .444 with eight hits in 18 trips. She paces Penn in hits and RBIs.
• The Penn pitching staff consists of four arms and boasts a 4.03 team ERA and .268 batting average against.
• Julia Longo has made three starts, tossing complete games in each. Longo has a team best 16 strikeouts and a 1.59 ERA over 22.0 innings of work.
