CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The La Salle men's and women's track and field teams completed competition at the Virginia Challenge over the weekend with performances from eight Explorers, three of which reached new career-best times.

HOW THEY FINISHED (MEN):

• Dennis Manyeah was the top finisher on the men's side. He tied his season-best mark of 2.07m in the high jump to claim fifth in the event.
• Freshman James Ptack was the only Explorer to compete in the 1500-meter. He placed 48^th with a time of 3:51.92.
• Luke Jaciw-Zurakowsky clocked in at 14:23.56 in the 5000m. He walked away in 50^th.

HOW THEY FINISHED (WOMEN):

• Olabisi Adams led the charge on the women's side placing 15^th in the long jump by reaching a personal-best distance of 5.82m.
• Kasi Brown hit a distance of 5.49m to take 28^th in the long jump.
• Liz Mancini and El Mancini both recorded career-best times in the 5000m Invite. Liz crossed the line first in 16^th with a time of 16:07.44 while El followed in 18^th with a time of 16:10.22.
• Christine Mancini placed top 20 in the 800m Invite. She crossed the line at 2:08.34 for 17^th place.
