PHILADELPHIA – La Salle's
Elizabeth Estrada earned a spot on the Guatemala Senior Women's National Team this summer.
The rising junior has suited up for the team twice this summer in friendlies against Chile, including making a start in the squad's 4-3 win over the nation on May 29
th where she logged 78 minutes. She will return to the national team for training camp from July 8-16.
A native of Reading, Pa., Estrada broke onto the scene last season, playing in all 21 matches and making seven starts. The midfielder scored three goals, including back-to-back games with goals in wins over George Mason and Fordham in October. She was tied for second on the team in assists with four. She earned Atlantic-10 All-Rookie honors for her efforts after not playing her freshman campaign.
