PHILADELPHIA – The La Salle softball team looks to stay hot as they host the Saint Joseph's Hawks for an Atlantic 10 doubleheader at West Campus Field on Thursday afternoon. The doubleheader was originally scheduled for Wednesday but was pushed back due to weather.

Scouting the Explorers
-The Explorers swept a doubleheader against Drexel last Wednesday before taking two of the three on the road against Saint Louis over the weekend.
-
Suzanne Swanicke earned Atlantic 10 Co-Player of the Week after hitting .667 (10-for-15) with 11 RBI's and five runs scored in five games. Six of the 10 hits were for extra bases, including three homers, on the way to a 1.467 slugging percentage over the five games.

Reilly Gearhart earned both wins in a doubleheader sweep of Saint Louis on Sunday, allowing three earned runs over a combined eight innings.
Marlo Roadcap earned her second save of the season in the opener, holding SLU scoreless over the final two innings.
-Roadcap picked up her team-best eighth win of the year on Wednesday in the opener against Drexel while
McKenzie Peace tossed a scoreless 7th for the save and earned the win in game two.
Scouting the Hawks
-Saint Joseph's had won nine straight games, including series sweeps of Rhode Island and St. Bonaventure, before falling twice in rain-shortened series at UMass last weekend.
-The Hawks have a team ERA of 2.79, which is the second lowest in the A-10. Sophomore Ashley Ventura is second in the A-10 with a 2.11 ERA in 146.0 innings, and is 11-10 on the year.
-Sophomore Amanda Kulp matched the Hawks' single-season mark for stolen bases with her 25
th on Sunday at Massachusetts. Kulp is second in the league behind GW's Megan Linn (26).
-Kulp is among the A-10 leaders at the plate as well, sporting a .402 average (45-for-112) behind Dayton's Gabby Snyder and Fordham's Jessica Hughes.
