Gale was a four-year standout on the hardwood for the Explorers, and still holds the single-season record for steals (95) and three-point field goals made (92). She closed her career with 1,126 points and ranks second all-time in three-point field goals made (186), third in free throw percentage (81.8%) and fifth in steals (200).
As a senior, she was named Second Team All-Atlantic 10 and earned First Team All-Big Five honors after leading the Explorers in scoring at 18.0 points per game. A stalwart defensive player, she was named to the A-10's All-Defensive Team and was also named the Big Five's Most Improved Player following her senior year.
