Russ Bono was a four-year letterwinner in men's soccer from 1979-82 who set the school record for career goals (32) and career points (71). In 1982, his 13 goals and 30 points ranked second all-time in a season. He scored 11 goals as a junior in 1981. A three-time All-ECC selection, Bono also earned All-Region and All-Philadelphia Soccer 7 Honors twice. Bono scored the game-winning goal in overtime to help the Explorers to the 1982 ECC Championship. He also lettered in baseball for one season.
