Theresa Carroll became the first La Salle All-American in track and field (1,500-meters), taking home the honor in 1998. That same year, she was named the Atlantic 10's Outstanding Performer for both the indoor and outdoor track & field seasons after capturing the meet crown in the 800m and mile indoors and the 800m, 1,500m and 3,000m outdoors. Carroll qualified for the NCAAs in the 800m (indoors) and 1,500m (outdoors).
Carroll also won the outdoor 800m and helped the Explorers to a first-place finish in the 4x800 at the 1997 A-10 Championsips.
She currently holds the school record in both the 1,500m (4:20.89) and 3,000m (9:48.00) events.
