Bob Moore '66 won the 200 butterfly at the 1966 NCAA Championships and also earned All-America honors in the 100 butterfly that season. A Middle Atlantic Conference champion in the 100 butterfly, 200 butterfly, 400 freestyle relay and 400 medley relay, Moore helped the Explorers finish third at NCAAs in 1964 and fifth in 1965 and 1966.
He set school records in 100 butterfly, 200 butterfly, 400 freestyle relay and 400 medley relay. Moore also helped La Salle to the 1966 MAC Championship. The Philadelphia native also participated in the 1964 U.S. Olympic Swimming Trials in the 100m butterfly.
Elected to the All-Century Mid-Atlantic Conference (MAC ) Swimming Team by an online fan vote that was combined with votes from the MAC Sports Information Directors.
