La Salle University Athletics

Bill Wilkinson was the head coach at La Salle from 1969-75 and again from 1977-86. He won 140 games, setting the program record, and led the team to a program record 14 wins in 1982. Wilkinson led the team to its only NCAA Tournament appearance in 1978. The Philadelphia Soccer 6 Rookie of the Year Award was named in his honor in 2007.
