Skip Trowbridge initially helped set the La Salle record in 400-yard medley relay (1963) and was named All-American in the 400-yard medley relay 1964 and 1965. Trowbridge also swam the 100-yard backstroke at NCAA Championship in 1964 and twice helped La Salle to a runner-up finish in the MAC Championship meet (1964-1965).
